Overview
Trovlix ("we", "our") builds TrovDigest, a notification digest app for Android. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data TrovDigest handles and how.
Data we collect
TrovDigest does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers.
All data remains on your device:
- Notification data — App name, notification title, content text, and timestamp are stored locally in an on-device database to provide digest and statistics features.
- AI processing — Notification classification and summarization are performed entirely on-device using a local AI model. No notification data is sent to any cloud service or API.
- Settings — Your app preferences (custom prompts, push schedule) are stored locally on your device.
Notification access permission
TrovDigest requires the Android Notification Listener permission to read your notifications. This permission is used solely to:
- Capture notification metadata (app name, title, content, timestamp)
- Categorize notifications using on-device AI
- Generate daily digest summaries
Notification data is never shared with third parties, transmitted over the internet, or used for advertising purposes.
Data retention
All notification data is stored in a local SQLite database on your device. You can delete individual notifications or all data at any time through the app's interface. We do not maintain any server-side copies of your data.
Security
Because all data stays on your device, your information is protected by your device's own security measures (screen lock, encryption). TrovDigest does not open any network connections for data transmission.
Third-party services
TrovDigest does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The app does not contain ads.
Cookies & analytics
This website (trovlix.com) may use basic Cloudflare analytics to measure page visits. No personal data or cookies are used to track individual visitors.
Data sharing
We do not sell, trade, or transfer your data to any third party. Period.
Your rights
You have full control over your data. You can view, export, or delete all notification data stored by TrovDigest at any time through the app. To request deletion of any data we hold (e.g. your early-access email), contact us and we will comply promptly.
Children's privacy
TrovDigest does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The app processes all data locally and does not transmit any information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
